| The
nursery and gardening industry contribute 100 million
plastic plant pots to landfill in Western Australia
each year – the equivalent of 8,000 tonnes
of waste material! |

| Pot
Recyclers are working to reduce this amount by collecting
polypropylene pots from metropolitan landscapers
and nurseries, and processing them for recycling.
|

|
| First,
pots are collected and go through a
sorting process before being shredded
and granulated into raw plastic product
ready for manufacturing - resulting
in new plastic pots made from 100% recycled
material! |

their pots to participating nurseries and garden
centres where they can be collected for recycling
– not just in WA but right across Australia. |
